Mission
To train professionals skilled in Aquatic Ecology of Freshwater Ecosystems to carry out advanced and applied research and teaching activities that contribute to the country’s scientific and technological development. Professionals, at the Master’s and Doctoral levels, capable of addressing environmental issues, promoting sustainable development, and working in ecosystem management and conservation.
Vision
To be a graduate program of excellence in education, research, and innovation, addressing emerging scientific questions and practical societal issues related to the use and conservation of continental water ecosystems.
